The alternating hardwoods create a refined geometric rhythm across the surface, while the edge-grain construction provides a durable, stable work surface that balances strength, beauty and everyday functionality.
Each board is shaped, sanded and finished entirely by hand, then conditioned in a bath of food-grade mineral oil before being sealed with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner — a food-safe blend of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax that nourishes and protects the wood.
