The dark espresso hues of wenge and walnut are softened by the brightness of maple and the subtle violet warmth of purpleheart — creating a sophisticated, design-forward composition. The edge-grain construction offers a durable, stable surface ideal for daily prep, serving and presentation.
Each board is shaped, sanded and finished entirely by hand, then conditioned in a bath of food-grade mineral oil before being sealed with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner — a food-safe blend of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax that nourishes and protects the wood.
Every Nightfall board is individually crafted, making each one subtly unique in tone and grain character — a functional heirloom meant to grow more beautiful with time and use.
